• paper : derived from article but closer in appearance to scrartcl
• lipics : distinctive style with yellow highlights

• typokurz : based on scrartcl

MS Word

• latex2rtf : somewhat maintained, standalone software, limited package support
• Lighten PDF : commercial, converts PDF to Word bypassing LaTeX
  • Works surprisingly well but still not great
  • Cheaper on App store

HTML

• pandoc : well maintained, standalone software
  • Beautiful tool but works better for other formats, like Markdown
  • Very limited package support
• tex4ht : not maintained, in TeX Live
  • Very good package support (including biblatex) through clever design
  • Documentation and unofficial tutorial
